To further her education, Dr. Toca Sone completed an oral surgery residency post-graduate program at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. She has also completed many hours of continuing education and conferences for topics such as advanced restorative and endodontics review; virtual planning and guided implant surgery; periodontal treatment evidence; Alveolar ridge preservation; soft tissue injuries and prevention of trauma; dental trauma in pediatric dentistry; the opioid crisis in America; computerized dentistry for private practices; facial trauma as a problem in Venezuelan society; and lecture and live surgery webcasts in implant placement and uncovering, guided bone regeneration technique, ridge split technique, internal sinus lift techniques, uncovering of an implant, and Bicon dental implants. She also has attended conferences for virtual leadership and the IADR X Multidisciplinary Congress. Dr. Toca Sone is a former board member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) and a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA).
